Potter Manufacturing complies with the regulations approved in California’s Proposition 65 (“Prop 65”). Prop 65 was created through the ballot initiative process and was intended to protect California citizens and the State’s drinking water from a State-determined list of over 900 chemicals that are known by the State to cause cancer, reproductive harm, or birth defects. All consumer products sold or distributed in the State of California are subject to Prop 65 or The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986..
You can access this list and other information regarding Prop 65 at http://www.oehha.ca.gov/prop65 . Potter Manufacturing complies with Prop 65 regulations through the use of clear and reasonable warnings. While it is not practical for Potter Manufacturing Co., Inc. to test each order for every chemical on the Prop 65 list, we do apply a Prop 65 warning label to each shipping carton for all orders shipping from our facility. The shipping carton is the immediate container for our products.
For all products, the two-color (yellow and black) warning label consists of a graphic (black exclamation mark inside a yellow triangle) along with the text: “WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Diisononyl phthalate (DINP), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.”
